CCBC is authorized to offer online courses to out-of-state students.
As a participating institution in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA), we’re approved to offer online learning to students in all NC-SARA member states.
NC-SARA is an agreement among member states that makes it easier for students to take online courses across state lines. It gives students access to more online learning options and provides a consistent process for resolving student complaints.
Because CCBC participates in NC-SARA, students from most U.S. states are eligible to enroll in our online courses and programs. This agreement helps ensure consistent quality and streamlined approval for distance learning across state lines.
Eligible states: CCBC can currently offer online education to students in all NC-SARA member states. Please note that, currently, California is not an NC-SARA state, but CA students are still eligible to enroll in online courses and receive Title IV federal financial aid.
